Gist shortlisted for Motor Transport Awards 2025
Gist is delighted to have been shortlisted for the Low Carbon award at the Motor Transport Awards 2025.
Our entry showcases the work we are doing across Gist to reduce carbon emissions across our network. Some highlights include the onboarding of 50 Bio-CNG vehicles, the new electric wagon and drag vehicle, and trials into aerodynamics on our trucks.
The Low Carbon award shines a light on companies who have made significant progress in reducing their carbon emissions by either; improving the efficiency of its vehicle fleet, reducing empty running or improving load fill, reducing fuel consumption or using alternative low carbon fuels.
Maurizio Romano, Head of Vehicle Engineering said “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this award. This is a fantastic achievement and testament to the hard work and collaboration across the business, highlighting our ongoing commitment to sustainability.”
The winner will be announced at an award ceremony on 3rd September at the Motor Transport Awards evening.
