GIST STRENGTHENS SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM WITH TWO NEW APPOINTMENTS

Logistics specialist Gist continues to strengthen its Senior Leadership Team with the appointments of its Chief Information Officer and Health & Safety Director.

 

Tim Kerwood (pictured, above right) takes up the role of Chief Information Officer and will be responsible for leading the company’s IT and Business Solutions teams, while developing and embedding a new strategy across the business.

 

Gist has also appointed Dan Platten (above left) as Health & Safety Director. Dan will be responsible for developing and driving Gist’s health and safety agenda, with a focus on behavioural and cultural change and improving the business’ technical standards and capabilities.

 

Michael Chambers, Chief Executive, Gist, said: “I very much look forward to having Tim and Dan join us at Gist. They both bring a wealth of experience in their respective fields which will offer a fresh approach to how we run our business and continue to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.”

 

Tim, Chief Information Officer, added: “I’m pleased to join Gist at an exciting time and very much look forward to driving a new IT and business strategy to deliver further customer value.”

 

Dan, Health & Safety Director, said: “Health and safety is at the core of everything we do at Gist, which is why I’m delighted to take up this new role and support the business to meet its overall objectives by driving forward our safety agenda.”

 

Both appointments are effective from Monday 1 November 2021.
