Gist shortlisted for Multimodal Sustainability Award 2025
Gist is delighted to have been shortlisted for the Sustainable Company of the Year award in the Multimodal Awards 2025.
The Sustainable Company of the Year award shines a light on companies who are committed to creating long term value through their operation in ecological, social and economic environments.
Our entry showcases the work we are doing across Gist in reducing waste, improving energy efficiency throughout the supply chain, and our ongoing commitment to a greener and cleaner fleet.
Yasmin Wilks, Sustainability Manager said “Our entry highlighted several key initiatives, including; the launch of our 50 bio-CNG vehicles, which eliminated 1,510,988 kilometers in the last financial year; our aerodynamics trials; and the introduction of new wagon and drag vehicles equipped with fully electric refrigeration systems. This recognition demonstrates that we are making significant strides in sustainability, and we're excited to see how we do at the awards."
The winner will be announced at an award ceremony on the 17th June at the Multimodal Awards evening.
