Supply chain excellence recognised with Gist reaching the finals for Retail Week Supply Chain Awards & CILT UK Achievement Awards

Gist's industry-leading supply chain and people programmes have been recognised by reaching the final short-list in both the CILT and IGD Awards 2010.

Retail Week Awards

Gist's innovative and value-adding approach to the EAT supply chain has been recognised by being short-listed as the Supply Chain Project of the Year in The Retail Week Supply Chain Awards 2011.

Alongside the team at EAT, Gist has addressed a range of existing challenges and has transformed the supply chain by consolidating a range of disparate supply chains into  a single logistics operation, optimising and reducing transport routes, improving safety for drivers and store employees, and dramatically reducing store complaints.

In addition, Gist has been shortlisted for Supply Chain Technology  for the development of GistDXS, a world-first in dynamic multi-nodal transport planning that is used for optimising transport for a number of food retailers.

These Retail Week Supply Chain Awards are dedicated to the retail supply chain and are judged by the industry's leading experts.

The winners of the awards will be announced at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on September 7.

CILT Awards

The CILT(UK)'s Annual Awards for Excellence aim to recognise achievements, encourage the highest standards and take a professional approach to the practice of Logistics and Transport.

Gist is a finalist in both the Development of People and Young Manager of the Year categories.

The winners of the awards will be announced at London's Marriott Hotel on 20 October 2011.
