  • 2011 Development of People - CILT Annual Awards for Excellence

    Gist was also named winner of Development of People category, giving recognition to its industry-leading people programmes that includes delivering NVQs, driver CPCs, an outstanding management trainee programme. and the use of people panels to support robust development and succession planning.

  • 2011 Young Manager of the Year, Rachel Beeken - CILT Annual Awards for Excellence

    Rachel Beeken has been named CILT's Young Manager of the Year by demonstrating the ambition, professional drive and outstanding people skills that has delivered excellence in personal, employee, team, business and customer satisfaction. Rachel has been instrumental in customer account growth, has introduced a range of improved employee programmes, revised work processes and created structured training programmes for her teams that showed a demonstrable improvement in performance.

  • 2011 Supply Chain Technology - Retail Week Supply Chain Awards 

    Gist has won the Supply Chain Technology at the Retail Week Supply Chain Awards 2011 recognising the development of GistDXS, a world-first in dynamic multi-nodal transport planning that is used for optimising transport for a number of food retailers.

  • 2011 Technology & Logistics Provider of the Year - The Grocer Gold Awards

    Gist Limited was named Technology and Logistics Supplier of the Year at The Grocer Gold Awards 2011. Gist's transformation of food retailer EAT's supply chain was achieved by consolidating the previously separately managed ambient, chilled and frozen supply chains into a single operation. As a result, transport routes were optimised and reduced, as were fuel consumption and mileage, safety for drivers and store employees was improved and store complaints were dramatically reduced.
