The environment

We have pioneered leading-edge environmental initiatives such as the efficient use and design of vehicles, reducing fuel consumption and emissions, and improving recycling schemes for packaging and waste. And we are constantly finding new ways to minimise the impact of every aspect of our business.

Gist has:

  • taken long-term approach to our use of vehicles
  • an ambitious driver training programme, improving safety and reducing fuel use
  • continously increased fill rates
  • been an early adopter of Euro 5 vehicles
  • electric/hybrid/dual fuel LPG diesel vehicles
  • bespoke solutions for vehicle aerodynamics and air management
  • minimised refrigerant gases and energy use
  • customer relationships with lower carbon-emission priorities.
