Intergreen is the largest company within the Dutch Flower Group and specialises in the supply of ready-to-sell flowers, bouquets and plants to retailers in Europe. Intergreen’s UK customers include major supermarket chains - Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury’s.

Kingfield Heath are wholesale distributors of office products, supplying on a 'trade only' basis to office supplies dealers and resellers throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

The relationship between Gist and Marks & Spencer has been going since 1969. Marks and Spencer has one of the quickest food supply chains in the country, with each DC being stockless.

Gist manages 100% of the chilled and ambient food storage and distribution in the UK. There are multiple warehouses across the UK where Gist staff order, pick and pack the foods which is then distributed to a variety of Marks & Spencer store formats throughout the UK including Simply Foods, high street and large out of town stores.

At the other end of the process Gist also performs supplier invoice reconciliation on a daily basis. Informing M&S of supplier inaccuracies and dealing with any supplier queries.

All of this has only been possible by the new technologies that have been adopted including RFID, satellite tracking and mechanisation.

Gist has worked with Marks & Spencer to provide an end to end solution for their international supply chain for general merchandise and food.

This has resulted in Gist managing the warehousing and consolidation for and provision of value added services (such as labelling , QA and Vac Pac) to M&S Franchise destinations globally utilising Air, Sea and Road Freight.

Critical to the delivery of this operation is security. Gist is responsible for all bond and customs clearance procedures, as well as ensuring all air freight complies with DFT security. Accordingly, the operation has achieved DFT Approved Known Sourced Status for airfreight shipment allowing all airfreight to bypass security checks at the airport.
