Gist extends contract with British Airways

Supply chain specialist, Gist, has recently extended its contract with British Airways, one of the world’s leading airlines, to manage all its onboard equipment and in-flight retail products.
This further extension to the contract continues a 14 year relationship between Gist and British Airways. Gist currently manages the stocking and despatch of British Airways inflight catering products such as wines, china, cutlery, blankets and catering trolleys, as well as their extensive range of retail products which includes fragrances, jewellery, watches and skincare products. The service provided by Gist is for British Airways flights worldwide and includes value-added services such as customs management and product re-cycling.
The operation, based near Heathrow, has recently extended waste recycling programmes to include packaging waste and in-flight magazines. The business is ISO 9001:2000 accredited and is a recognised Investor in People.
