Application Form
The first step to joining Gist is to complete our on-line application form. First impressions count so please make the most of this opportunity to let us know not just about your excellent academics and experience, but also your personal achievements. You can apply by clicking on the link below.
All completed application forms will be read by a member of our graduate recruitment team, who will then let you know whether you have been short listed for interview.
Telephone interview
The information you have given on your application form tells us if you have the qualifications, skills and attitude we are looking for and we now want to find out more about you! To do this we will conduct a telephone interview and ask for some specific examples of your past experience.
On-line testing
Having impressed us in your telephone interview we will ask you to complete on-line verbal and numerical reasoning tests.
Assessment centre
The final assessment stage provides an opportunity for us to get to know you better and for you to decide if Gist is the company for you. Key members of the Gist team from senior management to management trainees will be involved throughout the one day assessment centre. We will be happy to answer your questions about any aspect of life at Gist. The day will involve a one-to-one interview and a group exercise. Just as importantly, you will be given a tour of one of our sites to ensure you get a real feel for our working culture and environment.
Gist Induction
Once you have been offered and have accepted a placement with Gist you will be allocated a buddy - a graduate who is currently on our training programme. When you join Gist you will complete a site and head-office induction.
