What does it involve?

The programme will help you put your academic studies into context and enable you to be better prepared on graduation to embark on a career in your chosen field.

You will experience the responsibilities, tasks and relationships involved in managerial work whilst gaining an understanding of the ways in which Gist operates and how this may relate to other organisations and management processes.

Building a personal awareness of your own interests, competencies, values and potential you will increase your ability to make informed career choices. The programme enables you to gain an understanding of the logistics industry by giving you real responsibility in the workplace.

This position is ideal for any current student in a business or management discipline.

The candidate should display confidence and enthusiasm and enjoy working in a team environment, possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively.

A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access is required.

Candidates must be expecting at least a 2:2 degree and have GSCE A-C in English and Maths.

After a successful Industrial Placement, candidates can be fast-tracked to the assessment stage of the graduate scheme.
